As part of a new collaboration with Jules Rawlinson, Yati will play a performance of Pixi Dust using two modular synthesisers and Pixivisor - a audio/visual feedback software that represent audio manipulations in analogue-style video at the Reid Concert Hall on 31st May 2017 at 7:30pm. The concert will be part of the closing event of SIREN conference 2017: Arts and Digital Practices and will be part of a larger research project in the near future. Saundaryalaharī 1 and Reflections: Duo Canon at the Reid Concert Hall, Edinburgh on 7th June 2017 8pm
The premiere of Saundaryalaharī 1, the first output of a new series of works dedicated on the poetic restatement of Śankarācārya, will be premiered along with a performance of Reflections: Duo Canon (2016) by renowned Genoa-based piano duo Biondi Brunialti at the Reid Concert Hall on 7th June 2017 8pm. The new work features two pianos along with electronic manipulation and interactive visuals performed together with Yati.

Primal Flux to be screened at Festival International du Film d'Aubagne
The animated short Primal Flux, directed by Academy Award recipient Joan Gratz with music by Yati Durant, will be screened at the Festival International du Film d'Aubagne. The festival takes place from 21st - 26th March 2017 and focusses especially on works by European film composers. Primal Flux was completed in 2016 and premiered at the Varna World Animation festival as part of a workshop for animators within the official programme.
