Saundaryalaharī 5 v.2 (2023, online version) for cello and electronics

Improvisation on Saundaryalaharī Raga, for cello, trumpet and bansuri

Inspiration for the works is based on an 8th Century Indian literary work in Sanskrit  written by Adi Shankara called the Soundarya Lahari or Saundaryalaharī (Sankskrit: सौन्दर्यलहरी) meaning "Waves of Beauty”. More information here.

I’ve known and played with David Patrick for many years now, and finally we have developed the Little One Duo to really reach for a unique, intimate and distinct jazz sound. Striving to play the music of Kenny Wheeler, Bud Powell, Miles Davis, and many others, Little One Duo creates an atmosphere in our new demo recordings on this page here.

Yati conducts the Neues Rheinisches Kammerorchester and special guest, two-time Oscar winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla, at the closing concert of the Soundtrack_Cologne 21 film music festival at Comedia, Vondelstr. 4 - 6, Köln on Friday, 5th July 2024 at 19:00. The programme of the concert, includes special arrangements and premieres from Gustavo Santaolala, Marcel Vaid, Cristobal Tapia de Veer & Kim Neundorf, Gordy Haab & Stephen Barton, Ali Frutiger, and others as part of the Soundtrack_Cologne closing concert and awards ceremony.
