Call for papers: special George Crumb issue of CMR and visit to NYC/Phily in December

In early December, Yati is flying to New York City to visit George Crumb at his home in Philadelphia in preparation for a special issue on the composer in the academic journal Contemporary Music Review in 2019. Yati has known and worked with George Crumb since the mid-1990’s, when Crumb was giving talks and concerts at NYU. During this visit, Yati and George will discuss plans, topics and focus for the special issue, as well as having general discussions on composition, notation and convention of music performance!

The special issue of CMR is edited by Yati and has a deadline of 1st April 2019 for the call for abstracts. More information can be found here: http://explore.tandfonline.com/cfp/ah/gcmr-si-george-crumb
